Mr. Struan Stevenson is an author and the conservative member of European Parliament for Scotland from 1999-2014 who became an active supporter of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran, while the West had them listed as a terrorist organization. Struan Stevenson soon realized that the Iranian regime was spending a great deal of time and resources aimed at keeping the PMOI on international terrorist blacklists when he decided to expose Iranian regime's propaganda machine. As difficult as it was Mr. Stevenson helped the successful campaign to have the PMOI removed from the US, UK and EU terrorist blacklists. Despite threats to him and his family and warnings even from his own government, he was able to persuade others to be the voice of justice for the Iranian Mojahedin, prominent personalities such as Paolo Kazaka former Member of the European Parliament for Portugal until 1999-2009 and Alejo Vidal-Quadras, Vice-Presidents of the European Parliament. I had the honor and opportunity to talk to Mr. Stevenson about his recent book called: SELF-SACRIFICE - Life with the Iranian Mojahedin in which he recounts the moment he made his decision to defend the rights of Iranian Mojahedin.
